Netvouz Buttons updated
The Firefox extension for Netvouz has been updated by its developer. It now supports Firefox 3.1 beta versions. You can also display your most recent bookmarks (Netvouz new view) or all your bookmarks (Netvouz all view).
If you want to use any of these two new options open Tools -> Add-ons in Firefox. Then click The Extensions tab on the top, highlight the Netvouz buttons row and click Options. Select your preferences in the dialog that pops up.
Thanks again to John Pedersen for all his work on the extension!

I have made two separate requests to signup with no success. I sent an email to info and to support. When is signup going to be available again?
Hello Kurt,
We don't know when we will be able to open the self-registration again. But we do create accounts for those who email us. Can't remember to have seen your email though. Can you please send a new one (and include the username you want)?

Made another manual account creation request on 12/10.
Thanks!
Hello,
Drop us an email at our contact address and we'll manually create an account for you.

Once again I updated my Firefox without checking whether this plugin was ready with a compatible version... This is not yet the case. Any idea when?
I supposed I shouold have soecified that I just upgraded to Firefox 3.5...
I upgraded Firefox to v3.5, only to discover (as another poster has mentioned) that this breaks my Netvouz buttons. And there's no posting in this blog (other than comments) since last October; I fear that development here has ceased. Please tell me I'm wrong!
The Netvouz starting page offers a link today to an alledged 3.5-Compatible version of the FF Buttons.
As far as I can see, however, it's still version 1.60 and FF refuses to install it ("not compatible with Firefox 3.5").
Hello,
The Netvouz Buttons code hasn't changed (so version number is still 1.60, the latest). But John Pedersen has bumped the version number on the Mozilla add-ons web site which means that Netvouz Buttons can now be installed in Firefox 3.5. And it works, I just tried it again.
If it still doesn't work for you, try uninstalling the older version of your add-on and reinstall the new one.

Hi,
Just want to encourage the Netvouz folks to push ahead and get back into full swing and promotion.
You guys were the best at one time, and I still think you are. You have the right combination of features for the international user.
Please show us some life and get back into the best social bookmarking rankings!
I don't ever want to see you guys end up like a deadlink in my Netvouz account! Never!
Like others, I am getting nervous!! Has been a year since blog posted, copyright updated, or any other work done on this app. It is by far my favorite bookmark hosting site!!! Please don't die!!! Turn over to someone else to carry forward if necessary but please don't let site whither away. Even without updates this site is more user friendly than competition!!! A fan!! 10/28/09
Hey guys,
Don't worry. Netvouz is up and running and will be up and running. Reason for not posting to the blog is I don't have much to say right now. So therefore I mostly reply to your posts, and I do that quite frequently.
Development is progressing, albeit slowly. We know Netvouz is one of the best non-Ajaxy bookmark sites around. What we would like is to turn in into a modern Web 2.0 service with Ajax and integration to 3rd parties. But it's a massive overhaul to get the new codebase in place and make it maintainable.

I would like to sign up / register but there are problems as you know... I can't seem to find your actual email address, only links that take me to an email setup wizard on my computer, which I don't use. Can you let me know your address so I can type it in manually? Cheers.
Hi again, Kurt.
Drop us an email at info -at- netvouz -dot- com. Include the username you want and we'll create an account for you.
/Henrik
